yea go to a local audio shop i got two rockford fosgate p1s 10s in a sealed box with a 650 watt amp and power, ground, and remote wires for $250.00
That sounds damn good, and yes I have a audio shop near me

But what about installation? Would the shop do it?

ya shops install the systems but you should look at the rms power rating of the amp because i bought a 760 watt amp before i knew anything about systems but it only pushed 380 watts, now i have an 18001dt audiobahn amp 1800 continous watts thats a true amp that pushes the full 1800, but its a bit more pricey.. sony xplod is all about the fake wattage.. 1200 watt from sony pushes around 400 watts same with the 1300 watt sub i think it pushes 380 watts or something.. oh and by the way ported boxes sound better than just a normal sealed one, really depending on what kind of music you're trying to listen to, sealed may be better for rock. ported is definetly better for rap and i like it for rock too, but your choice. really you should talk to dealer that you are buying from and have him recommend something for you for your price range.

you can put the system in yourself. it took me about 1hr to set mine up it depends on how well you want your wires hidden you cant see any of my wires. but if you have ADD it is a pain in the a$$ because it time.
