Sony XS-GTX6931 GTX Series 6"x9"
On 2000 Civic, I just ordered Sony XS-GTX6931 GTX Series 6"x9.
I watched a video how to remove the rear piece and noticed that the guy who put my rear window tint on cut into one of the speakers and didn't even put all the white fasteners all back on. It sucks that not only do i have to replace the window tint (bad quality) but also my rear defroster doesn't work. I don't see any broken lines and the wire is connected. I have no idea why it doesn't work?
Anyway, I decided to get ready and remove the old speakers for the new Sony XS-GTX6931 GTX Series 6"x9" install when they arrive.
Should sound nice with the Boss Audio stereo I just had installed by Fry's. Next will be the mid's and tweeters in the doors with fiberglass type mod for the door, not sure what size and if 2-way is the way to go. Any hints on the mids and tweeters. No amp installed, maybe later if I put some sub woofers in the trunk then a amp. Got to budget.
