speaker not working right

today i noticed my right 6 1/2 wasnt working right, it plays music but its hard to hear and its not as loud as it should be but the left one works perfectly does anybody know what it could be?

maybe its blown?
what kind of speaker is it? you might be able to send it back

its a sony but is it blown if it still works its just really quite

I have the same problem with three 6x9s i had in my car...which are blown...sound is really low and then when i hook it up to a working speaker its really loud....so im guessing replace the speaker

you could take an ohm reading of the speaker, if it is being hella quiet it is probably going to read much higher than the 4 ohm rating

multitesters run between 20 to 100 dollars depending on how many features you want it to have.......the 20 dollar one works fine for just testing resistance....should be able to pick one up at radio shack or even auto zone.
