speakers not working

Default speakers not working

i just got a 97 ex and the font driverside speakers dont work and its not the fade or balance iv already checked them so i was just wondering if anybody could help me with this problem

check the spears themselves, try connections. do you hear anything if you crank it, and put your ear to it. if you hear like a hiss or a buzzing, then speakers might be blown, or not hooked up right. or are there speakers there?

is it blown? That would be a good reason for it to be blown? Is it plugged in? Yet another good reason for it to stop working? If the answer to one and two is no, then the radio is probably bad
