I just upgraded my factory stereo to a new aftermarket stereo. I install the Panasonic CD5800U 2 Din model. I checked all my wiring connection on the harness I bought from bestbuy and also check the one on the car as well. I matched all the wires properly for the speakers and power. The stereo turns on properly and functions, but I get no sound. I cross checked my wiring 4-5 times, but no luck. I connected my old stock stereo back it works perfectly fine. Anyone any suggestion what might be wrong? I am installing it on a 2000 Civic Hatchback btw.

 

Have you tried using different inputs? i.e. AM/FM, CD, or even auxiliary input

Or do they all not work?
