Stereo Help

Default Stereo Help

Hey I was wondering if you can tell me how to remove the stock stereo off of a 95 civic dx!? thanks guys

I haven't worked with a 95 myself, but i know it's gonna be a pain.

Your probably going to have to get some of the dash apart. Might look around and see if you can find some dash sections you can remove easily to get back there with your eyes and see what its gonna take.

I think the radios on those civics are kinda off center and lower to the floor, when compared with the EK's. It may be an easier removal then what I went through.

Sorry, I am kind of rambling. Someone that has your model will chime in soon I am sure.

take the trim off from below the radio (ash tray area) then look up under the radio.... you'll see 2 little phillips head screws that secure the radio on to a little cross brace. Pull em out and slide the deck out the front.
This works for 92/95.

what he says... the 92-95 is ALOT easier than the 96-00s. LOL
