tuner not working

tuner not working

I checked and checked the antenna in the back of the radio its hooked up.What else could be the problem.The radio doent work but the cd and everything else works fine.

do you have the antenna on the top of you car up?..because i no if mines down i will get NO radio , also..check the options on the deck

I extend the antenna all the way out on top the car and even move it around a little and you can here like a close channel but lots of static.Can your antenna go bad?

Yes antennas can go bad. I replace them alot. Have a local audio shop check it out.

I ohmed it and it was good.I then looked in the back of the radio and found a piece of the metal end.I then went to parts store and purchased a new antenna.Works great now.Thanks.
