Default Wiring confusion

This may be a bit confusing, sorry... haha but this is the only way I know how to explain it, help greatfully accepted!

Frommy deck there is a RCA going straight to the amp, and the amppowers 4 speakers and a 15" sub. Here's the confusing part. The amp is directly wired to the front 2 speakers and the sub. The back 2 speakers are powered by a second amp, that is connected through an RCA to the first amp.

I want to get my car rewired because it's confusing, and Iknow I can make it sound better. There is only one rca output on my deck. I knowI can rewire the front 2 speakers without going through the amp. The thing is, I don't know how to power the second amp that powers both my back speakers without wiring it through the first amp, because I already have an RCA coming out of the deck... How would I do that without getting rid of my second amp?...

what you should do is switch it around so that the 4-ch is powering the 4 mid rrange speakers, and the other amp is doing the sub. that way it makes it easier to adjust the levels of the subs or speakers, and way less confusing.

then get two y-adapter RCAs, one for right one for left. get one with 1 male and 2 female, hook the y-RCAs to the back of the radio and then run 2 sets of RCAs from the radio to the 4 ch amp. then use the output on the 4 ch amp to go the the other amp for the sub.

I say run 2 sets from the radio, because if you decide to get a new radio with a front and rear rca output, then the RCAs will already be there.

so when you are done it will roughly look like this

but the best thing to do is get a radio with 3 preouts, front rear and sub, and run 2 sets to the 4 ch, and one set to the 2 ch for full sub controls

hehe i tried to draw it out. I made it all on paint...

I just dont know how to attach the deck (only has 1 rca output) to amp2.
(amp1 is a 2-4 channel amp) and idk what amp2 is,I found it in my car a couple days ago lol
I only want the sub powerred by amp1, but I want to get all 4 speakers powered by the deck, so I can control them. I hope this makes it a bit clearer... lol
Another option would be to get out the new speaker wire, take out amp2, and wire the speakers directly to the deck, and sell the amp, but that will requirea bit more work... and im lazy.. haha

if ur hu only has one output u either have to buy rca splitters, or alot of amps have pass throughs so u could just plug the second amp into the first one

Sig racer is right. And also the way that you have it wired, the front is not gonna be as loud as the rear, and that is BIG no no! The sound should come from the front, not the rear.

You know the wires that run from the stock radio to the rear speakers? Just hook those to the amp, then cut and splice them to the wries taht run from the front doors to the stock radio. That will solve your wiring the doors problem.
