Default Help me!

Ok. As some of you have seen the top of my block has some crap on it mainly around the Vtec logo. I thought some of that flat range stove top cleaner would clean the logo better (Its that chalky white liquid special cleaner for those flat top stoves) but of course you can see it on the head now. Is there anything I can do?

Never cleaned one of those types of covers before. But if it were me...

1) Simple Green full strength, and a stiff bristle toothbrush...
2) Engine foam cleaner (3M foaming engine degreaser is a good one) agitate with stiff brush...
3) ...and my last resort would be brake or carb cleaner agitate with stiff brush...

Keep in mind that its a wrinkle paint finish. So 1 and 2 would be safe?

1 and 2 for sure they are designed for engine cleaning/degreasing. Carb cleaner I'm not certain... Sorry I couldn't be of more help...

yeah try Simple Green first or some other sort of degreaser. Toothbrush should help.
