I have heard of someone making something called back 2 black.. but wondering what products you guys use to keep factory skirts shiny black.. i tried the wheel stuff but doesnt last long.. and mine is that faded grey/white look.. looks real crappy with my new lip kit on front/back.. which i will be posting pics of here soon .. hopefully get it cleaned up and more pics this weekend

 

Mothers Back to Black works real good. I will keep them looking good until you can get them painted to match... looks much better painted. Looking forward to your pics.[8D]

 

+1..i used to use that mothers stuff on all my black trim which was ALOT, before i got it all painted, and it made them look really good,shiny and wet look...i still use it on the black rubber around my windows

 

I've had such crappy luck with Mothers Back to Black. I just threw out the little that I had left, cause it keeps it nice looking for a few hours, then it because crappy again. I may just take off all the moulding when I get my lip and have it all painted the same, that seems like the only want to make it look nice and black.

 

they have a product that's an actual vinyl plastic dye but the name escapes me.

it makes your plastic trim truly black versus just wet-looking, which is what Back to Black does.

i ought to know. i used back to black today. lol.

 

^If you're going in for the dye job, get Krylon Fusion or Vinyl Dye.
