Default My weekend detailing project.

So my boss has been getting into buying Classic cars now and having me detail them up and then he sells them. This one is a 1957 Fairlane that had been sitting for a few years. The paint was in serious need of some help and had zero shine. I would have brought my camera for a before and after shot but I didn't know until I got to work that I was going to be doing this car. Here are a few pics after 5-6 hours of buffing and a total of about 10 hours of time on her.

He's got another one for me soon that he plans on selling at Barret Jacksons...will post before and after pics on that one.

I herd him say he wanted $25k to some old guy who was looking at it...not sure if he was serious though...he likes to joke around a lot. I did take one pic of the hood with my phone after I compounded one side of it but it's hard to really see anything. I didn't know I was going to be cleaning it when I went in on Saturday so I didn't have my digital. I finished it on Sunday so I brought the camera in then.

here is a pic from my phone....you can see the reflectin on the right side of the hood from the over head lights vs. on the left. Sorry such a crappy pic.[&o]
