ridding dust from a black car
A black car's surface can reach temperatures of 140 degrees in 85 degree weather. So yeah, like everyone advised cool surface. You pretty much want to do all detailing (wax, dust, wash, clay, etc) when the surface is cool to touch. That's when you get the best results. Compounding would be the only detailing where a hot surface is acceptable because you need to build up heat and friction anyway to correct paint defects..[sm=smiley20.gif].
o well i never keep mine in the trunk...i keep mine in the back seat.... just sit it out for abit more in cool area and just dust it in the morning when the cars still cool.....
after about half a dozen dusts the duster shouldnt leave much if any residue.....
