umm only one problem. i put the manual cluster in today, and now my speedometer just floats around 20mph the entire time. ive tried unplugging and replugging the wires on the cluster, cleaning the vss connector with a brush and still its stuck. any ideas? =[[

 

The speedo on the manual cluster might be messed up. You can easily take the cluster apart and swap the speedometer from your old cluster into the new one. In fact, I recommend doing so even if it doesn't fix the problem, that way your odometer will be correct.

HI i was just wondering if anyone could tell me what is involved in switching an auto d16y7 to manual if i already have both trannys and the manual car.

 

o and the reason just incase someone feels like hating is the current motor has almost 200km and the new one has 50k with an obd1 conversion and y8 intake. i know i could just change the wiring harness, intake and comp. but with 150k less it may be worth it. also the manual tranny needs a throw out bearing and could use a clutch so while its out that would be done to

 

also change the flywheel, and bolts, and starter, from auto to manual
