Bolt ons- Aem CAI V2, Skunk2 IM/TB 68mm, Dc Sports 4-1 1 peice header, Magnaflow high flow cat-catback exhaust 2.25", Walbro 255 with adjustable FPR.

Looking for a base piggyback system to change engine specs to get gains off of my bolt ons to get the most out of the small amount of money spent. Apexi AFC units seems to be the best suggested for OBD2 system. I am not converting to OBD1 as I live in and emissions state and do not want to deal with having to work around it.

Also if anyone has idea from a friend or personal experience what kinda numbers you can actually get from bolt on setup from a Y7 lemme know. I would hope its at least more than a stock EX. Thanks

 

if you dont have vtec than i wouldnt get the vafc-2, the neo looks kind of fake to me but i was considering it... If you got the cash and want something nobody really else has then get the neo, But my money is on the safc-2 which i am about to order asap...

another thing if which ever one you are going to get you can get it brand new in the box for about 100 bucks cheaper off ebay and they are the real deal to, no fake copys

 

Yup thats where im pricing them.. i price no ebay or whatever i can get cheapest with shipping then i take to a local guy here and he matches price so i dont gotta deal with them.. i get straight from wholesaler and if theres a prob i get it returned.. no fees nothing.. Very sweet deal.. sometimes he beats price.. best thing will be when i order my Vis hood.. cuz then i dont gotta deal with chips/cracks etc..

What is the difference between a safc and a vafc? How much of a difference would a dyno tune do for my car with the bolt ons I have?

 

same questions i just asked.. but vafc shows it controls vtec.. so assuming you can change the point it kicks in etc..safc you can remap sensors and fuel flow.. not sure if this allows for changes in vtec also

Vafc is same thing as Safc with the added option of changing VTEC points.
