Default Battery trouble

aight, so lately my idle has been actin kinda wierd by sometimes bouncing between 100-200 rpms (not 1000 to 2000, thats just how much it actually bounces) and i was wondering what it was. so i went under the hood, and noticed battery acid all over the + and - battery thingys lol.. so we used baking soda to nueturalize it and now its all off. We did all this yesterday, and before i could drive it my dad took it away for 24hrs for skipping school to go drive lol. but i was wondering if this battery problem could be part of my idle problem?

No. Dirty battery terminals wont affect idle.

Default RE: Battery trouble

found out what it was, i put in my vtec controller a few weeks ago, and it was running fine, but the idle problem started taht day. then we got to thinking about it anyway, and the vtec controller sets back a chipped ecu to stock settings, so it was pointless to have the vtec controller anyway. so i took it out and it all runs fine now lol. we think the controller is possessed
