Default help

if i drive my car for anything more than about 45 minutes at a time, then i try to get on it my rev limiter comes on around 7,000. it didnt start doing it until i put the V-AFC on. One of my friends thinks i might have two of the wires that splice into the same wire but have to be a certain length apart and i may have them to close..i was just wondering before i went and undid all the wires to find the right one..........HELP!!
