LIMP
Caps lock is on the left side, middle of your keyboard.
Limp mode is a set of fuel and ignition tables that your ECU uses when you have a CEL. If you have a CEL, then your ECU assumes that something is wrong with your car and basically goes into "safe" mode. Normally your ECU is getting information from various sensors (namely the o2 sensors) and making fuel/ignition adjustments on the fly, know as "closed loop," but in limp mode it reverts back to a pre-set, very safe set of "look-up" tables.
Savvy?

i am running a code for the o2 sensor because of the goddamn header and downpipe and no cat
but what does this safe mode do for the vtec. does it still engage or just adjust the fuel and timing during the v tec engagment.
