i think that the main body is the same, only the "butterflys" in the center are larger. so, your new manifold should fit both your old T/B and your new, upgraded T/B.. but im not really sure.

after doing some research, i belive you could run a new one on any aftermarket intake manifiold, and im pretty sure the stock one is the same. also, your mods will support a new T/B just fine, just reset your ECU before you fire it up...or your car might run crappy becauses itll be too lean.

But if you have a new intake manifold would it be worth getting a throttle body that is only 4mm bigger? Or should you just stay with the stock 56mm?

your really only going to get hp from the increased effency in the air flow, keep in mind, your engine can only burn so much fuel, and with a bigger T/B, you can give it more fuel, but the engine cant use it, resulting in either rich operation, or your ecu will adjust for it quickly and regulate the fuel back to stock.

the vx and cx throttlebodys are the same in eg's i think with a 48mm thorttle. if you install a intake manifold and throttle body on your car it will help throttle response and some power but if you want the most power with those mods you have to will have to tune the fuel curve accordingly to get the full potential because you power curve has shifted from stock

Im still under warranty and was thinking of either boring out my throttle body, or getting a i/m and new throttle body...either way i have to get the ecu re-set

So i have to take it to Honda right? but then wouldnt that void my warranty cuz they are re-setting the ecu??

no no. you just disconnect the negative battery terminal, then let it sit for like 15 minutes. Prollly not that long, but just to be safe. I think if you disconnect it before you start the install, and then once its done let it sit for a few, thatd be even better.

And about the only time you need to manage your fuel is when you boost. Other htan that you should be good. And a new I/M and TB will be good for throttle response and a little more power.
