o2 sensor again

Default o2 sensor again

hey guys im boosting my 98 hx. had the d16y5 head now i have a d16y8 head manual tranny. anyone have any idea how i can run my second o2 sensor? or how would i wire the knock sensor wire in the harness..even better anyone have a diagram or the ecu plugs.

if youre boosting i imagie you have an aftermarket exhaust, probably with a highflow cat. No matter how well the cat is working, you will still get a CEL light from the increased exhaust flow (specially cuz of hte boost). You will need an o2 simulator to correct the CEL, and technically once you wire the the simulator in, you can remove the sensor and just plug the hole (not neccesarry, but it will clean up some wires runnin around near your exhaust). There are installation diagrasm on those two sites ^ and if those sites arent enough, Google. it. GL

so with the simulator i will still pass emissions correct?

yeah, the only thing it messed with is the o2 sensor signal. The cat will still do its job..
