what octane should i use?

Default what octane should i use?

i got a 94 civic dx with a short throw, and muffler (engine wise) and im wondering what octane of gas should i use? is 87 alright or should i use 93 to help my engine. what do you guys think?

just get the cheap sh*t its what the engine is made for and you arnt running anything like a turbo,supercharger, or spray

i just cant do that to my car
i dont know why
i know it will be fine but i always put 89
and 91 when i got some extra cash
100 octane if i actually have enough money to get to the track

87. Higher octane doesn't do anything to civic. If you use higher octane all your doing is building up carbon deposite on your piston because these aren't high compression cars and its harder for it to burn high octane. Plus your car run smoother, perform better and gets better mpg with 87.
