i am looking into getting a turbo for my 97 ex. i would like to run uberdata but i have obd2 and i will need a conversion harness and get an obd1 ecu. The problem is that i need to pass emissions every two years and i have heard that and obd1 ecu will not pass emissions in an obd2 car. Is there anything i can do so i can run obd1 and still pass emissions?

 

Uberdata will help you out with this.

With a uberdata chipped p28 you should be able to get ahold of a p2p(96-00 civic ecu) map burnt on to a chip and run it while testing is happening. But you will need a second O2 bung in your exhaust to put another O2 sensor in while you get smogged.
