Default Re-setting the ECU ?

To re-set the ECU is it really as simple as disconnecting the negative from the battery?

and let it sit for 20-30 minutes, then plug it back in and start it and let it idle for about 5 minutes with no load on it. if you can find the fuse to pull, then you wont have to reset your radio as well. itll be in the fusebox under the hood.

you will have to touch the positive and negative battery terminals together (away from the battery of course) then start it and let it idle for about 10 minutes.
