Wideband 02 Sensor

Wideband 02 Sensor
I have an Innovate LC1 Wideband 02 sensor that I had professionally installed on my car. It's been fairly cold out recently and snowing, sometimes the wideband gauge will not function right when the engine is cold. By not function right I mean it will read all the way on the lean side (21.8:1) even though I know it isnt running this lean because when it warms up a little or I play with the RPM's a bit it will read correctly (usually in the 13's somewhere but if I get closer to boost 12 and 11:1's. The car was tuned on a dyno and I know the air/fuels are good, but what could cause the gauge to do this?

my wideband takes a while to warm up, mine doesn't read crazy lean like that, but it doesn't respond until it's warmed up. Mines not the same brand though, maybe they act differently, but as long as it reads right after it's warmed up i think you're okay. My tuner was the one that told me they take a little bit to warm up.

An O2S has a light-up temperature of 572*F... until it reaches that temp, it's not going to be accurate.
(and side note: 13:x is fairly rich... you could get much better fuel economy if it was tuned for ~14.7:1 at light throttle and closer to 12:1 at heavy throttle/WOT... h**l, my friend used to tune hondas... they tuned them for a 17:1 AFR at closed throttle)

ya it runs in the 14's somtimes too. I've seen it in the 15's at light throttle sometimes also. The temperature seems to effect it, im going to get it tuned in boost when it warms up and ill get it all tightened up.
