Default 91 civic dx swap

i have a 91 civic dx that i want to swap a better motor into. its got a d15 in it now so i need to know what you think would be the easiest and a little on the cheap side

first of all what is your budget? how much you trying to spend?
second you will have to covert the duel point to mpfi

That guide is amazing. all the information you ever could want to know.

The easiest swap would be a MPFI conversion. Basically just converting your motor to multi port fuel injection, should give you an extra 20hp or or so. The next option would be a mini me swap. This can be done by swapping a vtec head from a newer dseries engine, wiring vtec, obd1, and multi port.

As for engine swaps, there are a lot of different routes to go. Best bang for your buck in my opinion is a ZC swap. It is strait forward, easy to do, and a great little engine that you can get for around $600 bucks imported. Sohc zc is just like the SI engine and that is a good swap too.
