That guide is amazing. all the information you ever could want to know.
The easiest swap would be a MPFI conversion. Basically just converting your motor to multi port fuel injection, should give you an extra 20hp or or so. The next option would be a mini me swap. This can be done by swapping a vtec head from a newer dseries engine, wiring vtec, obd1, and multi port.
As for engine swaps, there are a lot of different routes to go. Best bang for your buck in my opinion is a ZC swap. It is strait forward, easy to do, and a great little engine that you can get for around $600 bucks imported. Sohc zc is just like the SI engine and that is a good swap too.
