only 6200? I have a p28 ecu with no chip and I can rev all the way to 10,000rpms..I looked in my ecu for a chip and no there is no chip its a virgin..lol..I dont know its weird..I think maybe the stock redline may be at 6200rpms...not for sure but I am thinkin so...well goodluck figuring it out..

 

same problem here...mine is a 97 ex coupe with stock d16y8...the max i can go is only about 6000 rpm.....anyone know the solutions???

 

I would be worried past 8000.

 

will dang.. seems ;like i have did everyones suggestion.. did about every signle thing that i was told here.. and still it dont redline at 7200 and still at 6200 rpm... it feels that i just need an upgrade on my motor.. cause i have got my brand new slot rotors upgraded uel filter and also i got a brand new exedy clutch with fly wheel and pressure plate and i got a new tranny... plus i just did my ecu and motor harness and still it dont go that far but i'm still hitting 15.1 on the quater mile.. will i guess for a single cam coupe.. thats the best i can go with at this time.. bujt looking foward to doing more to it.. mayb my care was suppose to run like that who knows but i'm staisfy though.. thanks for all the hlep guys
