JDM LS swap redling at 5800 rpms
I have a 94 civic ex with a jdm b18b swap. Running a stock p75 ecu with no check engine light. it doesn't have a steady idle, bounces from 700 to 1000 rpms and it also redlines at 5800 on my stock eg tach. Anybody ever had this problem or know what it might be? Maybe TPS sensor? Thanks

my y8 was had a bouncing idle like that and wouldnt go over 3500.
turned out the tensioner for the timing belt was loose and it slipped 2 teeth in the initial start up. check tdc with a screw driver and check your cam gears for correct timing?
tps sounds like another good place to look into.
