ok. its running alright now, but im still concerned about using the z6 timing belt. could anyone please explain why i should put the z6 timing belt rather than keep the y7 one thats on there now?

all i know is the y7 timing belt has a little bit more teeth on it. what does this result in?

if your timings correct then it will improve performance compared to it being off before

thats good news! ill just go ahead and swap out the timing belt whenever i decide to put the zc pistons in... now for some reason, the y8 dizzy wouldnt bolt up correctly with the z6 head... could i just get a z6 dizzy and wire the obd2 plug onto it?

nah i didnt take any pics. but everyone i talked to said the y8 dizzy is supposed to fit the z6 head cuz theyre sorta the same thing. but i bought it brand new....and it didnt bolt up correctly. the only dizzy that bolts up correctly with my y7-z6 minime is the obd1 z6 dizzy.

do you think if i just cut the wires and wired it to an obd2 plug it would work just fine?
