Exclamation Need advice on an engine swap

I don't know much about engine swaps, etc as in why I joined this forum. I would like to know which engines would fit into my 96 Civic EX. I am looking to put a bigger engine, like a v6 to replace my 1.6L 4cyl. Thank you for all the help

How much power do you want to have? Any plans for boosting in the future? What is the car going to be used for? Track? DD? How much money do you have to spend?

You can fit a v6 motor in there, but it will probably be a PITA and will cost a pretty penny.

according to wikipedia (which i know isnt a very reliable source) my car is supposedly V-TEC, so what should i do to get max HP out of it? Or should i just go with a swap?

Boost for max HP. Otherwise, start looking at swaps. There is no such thing as a powerful D series that is not on boost, unless you want to spend like $10k on the motor.

v-6 swaps are cool, search for Splat's build on this forum. He has two, actually... one of which is paddle-shift which is pretty badass if you ask me.
