Had a quick question on the b18c1 swap. This is going in a 99' 2dr civic 5spd with the 1.6 motor...got a b18c1 off a guy and i'm confused as to wheather or not the tranny, clutch, and flywheel need to be replaced as well or if the tranny, clutch, and flywheel from the 1.6 will work with the b18? I've had some people tell me yes and some people tell me no...just looking to get it cleared up lol...thanks in advance

 

the tranny needs to be the same series as the motor im pretty sure.
if you have a D series engine, any D series tranny would bolt up to it.

so you will need a B series tranny... is my theory.
