2000 EX dilemma

Should I go with an engine swap or should I go with keeping the one I have now? That is the question. I have a 2000 ex with a non VTEC 1.6L. Please gimme some suggestions. I have about $1500 to work with.

If you have an EX, its the D16Y8 VTEC. The non VTEC is the D16Y7 (which is what I have) Keep the D and boost it with turbo. You'll be happy.
