Default Another Seafoam question

Sorry if this has been mentioned somewhere, I can not find it. But, when everyone says to put Seafoam in there crankcase, so you leave it in there until your next schedualed oil change? Or are you suppost to change the oil after a certain amount of milage after putting it in even though you have pretty new oil in your car? Please let me know. Thank You.

300 miles should be alright, tho i'd change the oil as soon as u can. the reason u change the oil soon after putting it in ur crankcase is because it thickins the oil and can cause problems.i remember i left it in for a few hundred miles and the oil was noticeably thicker. first time i did it, i put about a 1/3 of the bottle in the crankcase, now when i do it i put a lil less..
