b16 valve adjustment?

There's lil ticking comeing from my head and i need toadjust the valves on the head, What are the SPECIFICATIONS to adjusting them? (b16a2)

honestly, if you have to ask that,I would suggest at least finding a friend who has done it before, if not paying someone to do it. its a tricky process, and its easy to mess up.

you're going to need a valve adjustment tool, which you can buy on ebay for about $12.

they help out a ton, but is basically useless if you don't know what you're doing. get a factory repair manual or a good DIY tutorial online before attempting this.

youll need a tool like the red handled one in the picture (it doesnt show it very well, but its kind of a hex driver over a flathead screwdriver) , and a set of feeler gauges (like 5 bucks at autozone or kragen) and like DR said, a manual is going to be necessary on your first try, but its still best to have an experienced person around.
