B's have the same mounting points, but you can't bolt a B16 to a D tranny.

Correction: SOME B's have the same mount points. They don't necessarily line up.

What B's don't Kappa? The old craptastic B20s/B21 out of 90-91 preludes?

:edit: Better not poke the bull.
Is that an inside joke? B/C i dont' understand.
Tried to pm you to explain, but you have em turned off. I would explain in here, but that would defeat the purpose of editing, wouldn't it? It was nothing offensive, just trying to avoid a flame war about the b series vs. d series.

Stock mounts are a no-go in most cases (or most of them are anyway). Precious few (read: EF + SIR-I) are actually direct, straight, sweet-cheeks, stock-mount bolt-ins. Most others you need to fudge the mounts somehow or another.

I just assumed they all used the same mount points, because it's said ANY B is a "direct swap" into an EG and EK. I wasn't considering EFs or EPs, an oversight on my part.

Ah. Understandable.

However, even with EG's and EK's, you have to use different mounts in some situations.

The rear mount is the one that you have to change on ek/eg's I think

Yeah that usually helps. I just assumed you knew. I have an 89 civic w/ a d15a. And I meant...without changing mount locations. And snipe just to let u know i am hard of hearing so it helps when I type in CAPS!!! Dude really! don't you have anything else to do other than be a thread editor-in=chief.[sm=chairshot.gif][sm=headbang.gif][sm=smiley2.gif]

In an EK, you need the rear mount bracket, front left mount bracket (front of tranny) and the A/C bracket all from a 99 si. The mounts are the same its just the brackets that are different. Once again, this is for an EK.
