Blown EX Motor.
I am 50+ so a lot of this stuff is new to me on honda's so excuse me. I am wondering if a b16 will match with my trans from my sohc v-tec d16 y8 motor. If not can you direct me to a decent place for a replacement motor thanks all for help. Yes my civic is all black lowered with si rims love my little honda.

RE: Blown EX Motor.
youre either going to need to try and rebuild your current motor or buy a new/used d-series motor.
both options are going to cost in the hundreds of dollars at the least.
i suggest you call around local junkyards and see if they have any d16s (they're pretty popular, so chances are they won't).
the next thing you can do is search online classifieds on car forums and craigslist or ebay.
just be careful. have a good mechanic visually inspect any motor you may think of purchasing before hand if its used -- even if it means hiring a local mechanic in that area by giving him $20 - $50 and going to inspect the engine. it'll be worth every penny.
