From expierence with dohc motors it is beter to go positive on intake and negative on exhaust or the other wat around cant remember its been a little while. On my buddys 91 prelude we were running intake at +3 and exhaust at -3 and gained like three tenths on his 1\4 mile time.

negative on intake and positive on exhaust. you had the right idea, but backwards. and id say roughly 1-3* of adjustment on most cars. but if youre doing stuff like that, get it on a dyno.

I knew it was something like that it has been a while. Some dumb *** i know thought you could get more power out if you set them at positive and positve.

it just shifts the power range around if you do both. it could be a good thing for driving around town. advancing both of them will help low-end power, at the expense of top-end. but as many of us know, drag racing these cars requires a lot of top end. too much low-end, and you cant get it off the line without wheelspin. so retard them at the strip, and advance them at the auto-x track.
