this is for a d17? 8.8:1 is like turbo pistons, get some 11.5:1 and run high octane.

8.8 would probably lower than stock and you will loose power, run 11+

do you know if they make high compression? stock right now is 9.5:1 and i have only found lower but i was planning on getting a new camshaft, a new cam gear, and valve springs and retainers, new valves. I know its going to be a lot of money, its a long term project for me. Is there anything else i can/should upgrade along with that?
