first off hello all my fellow civic junkies new to the forum and i like what i see loads of info. anyway i have sort of the same queston and instead of making a new topic, i will just ask it now. i have a 94 turbo charged /25 shot n2o civic all stock internals and would like to start building it to run more then 5psi. just wanted to know what a good entry leavel comp/ratio would be to run a nice 12-15 psi. Also everyone i talk to says sleeves would be a good idea but as i saw in earlier post a couple of you said sleeves were not needed. well let me STFU. thanks in advance.

air preassure is higher than that im pretty sure. i know 1 bar of pressure is about 14.7psi, at sea level im thinking it stays right around 3100mb. so that would put it at around *gets out the calculator* 44.95psi average at sea level...which makes sense because weve got a little under two dozen miles (on average) of air above us. air is light...but its not weightless. 22.7 miles of air does add up.

haha thats pretty awesome. conservation of mass. take something, weigh it, light it up, weigh the ashes, subtract post burn from pre burn, theres your weight of smoke
