D15b8 to B18?
I found an integra with a B18 in it at a junk yard today and was wonder around what I would have to spend to put it in my 95 Civic hatch? Or would it even work? Im going to do a swap this summer and this would only cost 120 bucks at the yard. Im for sure getting rid of the d15b8 though.

I'm no expert at this but as far as I know you might have to do a little bit or frame modification. You know, a little bit of notching and dinting here and there. You may not have to on your body style but I know I do on mine (88-91). Everything else should work. just make sure you get everything. This means the engine, wiring harness, ECU, axles, tranny, and shift linkage. There might be something I'm forgeting but, everything you need should be on the car as long as it is a real GSR or Type-R. If you are not sure look on the block, B18C1 is GSR and B18C5 is Type-R. Also remember if you do this your RPM's will change.

Its a B18a1 and looks like nothing has been stripped yet. Im thinking about going to get it and use it as my first engine build out of the car then swap it in eventually. So it doesnt sound like I would need to do much to drop it in. Just axels, tranny, ecu, and shift linkage right? I can get everything under the hood with a warrenty for like 200 bucks.

Kentucky. I found it at a Pull-a-Part yard. They have all 4cyl engines for I think $125. And they give you a warrenty in case it doesnt work. But the teggy its in was hit in the rear and the engine looks clean. Im going 2maro to check it all out again.

This is the first engine thats came through in the last year and a half worth taking. This and an 03 Si DOHC VTEC came in this week. 40,000 miles were on the 03....but the entire car was stripped to the frame by time I got to it...which was the day after it was on the lot.
