if i switch from a d16y7 to a d16y8 head will i need the d16y8 injectors as well? will the y7's run lean? i already have the y8 IM and TB with the sensors.

 

i would think being that the y7 injectors are 190cc and the y8 is 240cc.

All obd 1/2 B series are 240cc's saturated

All obd 1/2 D series are 240-cc's saturated

1992-96 Prelude non-vtec Peak and hold 240cc
1992-96 Prelude VTEC Peak and hold 345cc
1997-up Prelude VTEC Saturated 280cc

 

the y7 injectors are actualy 190cc for economy and the y8 injectors are 240cc

 

and you can get aftermarkets at 260 to get a little extra from what ive read.. to keep from running lean if you want to tune..someone who has previous exp with this place your input here :P
