Engine finally called it quits on me...

Seeing how you seem to have a good amount invested in your current car I'd just get a replacement engine, which would be a lot cheaper than getting another car. And just save up for a 99-00 civic if you want one.

No i checked all the fluids and everything was either full or near full.
and that would be freakin amazing if I could swap in a K. I wish that could happen

You should swap in a d series motor and then sell it, jpnolan is selling his D16y7 complete swap for $500. Anything he doesnt include you can use from your broken motor. Once thats in you should look into getting a new civic. Buy the new civic first and then swap all your after market parts onto it. You could just switch the hoods and make your hatch a close to stock as possible and then sell it. After that you could sell your broken motor or keep it for spare parts!!!! Who knows you might even break close to even after its all said and down.
Anyways that really sucks it took a poop on you and hope you get her back and running!!!

well I got a car, kind of...
my grandfather has an extra truck that they use about once a month that he is letting my borrow it. its not really an extra its just their second car and their both retired so its extremely rare that they both have to go somewhere different at the same time. Its a 98 ford F150 regular cab. Its not my choice of cars, but its in great shape and its a running truck that will get me from a to b until i get my car figured.
oh but it does have sweet *** sounding exhaust and its got a lot of power so its probably gonna be fun to drive while I have it
