Let me start off by telling you about my Civic. It's a '93. Its a 1.5L I4 4 speed. 4dr. Automatic.

Now on to the questions. If I want to drop a new engine in it, not for racing, just for driving, what is a good engine, where could I find/order it, and would I be able to outfit my car into like a 5 speed manual? I know its a popular year, make, and model, so I know it won't be too hard to do this.

just for driving i recomend a rebuilt d15b7 since thats whats in your car. if your after a little more power maybe install a rebuild d16a6. if your willing to do a little wiring i say install a d16z6.
