engine starts but turns off immedietly
I own a 92 LX civic and this car is getting a little old but i still love driving the **** out of it. Sometimes when i try to start the car it turns on but turns off immedietly. After that i gotta wait little while then try it again. The car eventually turns on but i would just like to know if anyone knows what the problem is and how i could fix this problem. I have done a bit of research and found out that it might be loose electrical connectors at the distributor, coil or alternator. As well it might be the fuel injectors or it might the gasket between the intake manifold and the throttle body. I just wanna your opinions and suggestions on this. Thanks guys

RE: engine starts but turns off immedietly
First check the spark plugs then the rotor or the distributor cap before u get into the gases like injectors or fuel lines.
If not that check the starter cable near the tranny and the ground for it.
If none of that hit me up

when was the last time you replaced the fuel filter, air filter, or cleaned your throttle body and injectors? You might want to try all of that first. Oh and i mean a professional injector cleaning not just a bottle in the tank kind. those are of for regular maintenance, but for a good cleaning you need the professional type.
