I dont know if i want to boost it though because i will have this car for a while, and it needs to be a daily driver also. Would it be better to get the b18c it-r and do the I/H/E and change internals and new fuel injection. Or the b18 gsr and do everything i would to the it-r minus the header but boost it

These motors are already fuel injected.

Go GSR man. The sleeves on the H22 leave me a little squeamish, and everyone gets a little boost happy, so if you go B18, youre going to have a really good base to move up on. The H22 is a great motor, for maybe even a little less, after all is said and done, the B18 might be cheaper, and youll be better off in the long run IMO.

At 8psi you wont need to worry about better fuel injection, youll most likely be okay with what you if you get a good tune.

H22 sleeves are no thinner than GSR sleeves.

and yes, i meant CAI too. you wont use it when you get a turbo unless you modify it to use as charge piping.

You probably would get a better daily driver boosting a gsr than running a built type R. If you just want a car that does 14.5 seconds and is fun to drive, get the b18c5 and put a H/I/E and call it good.

If just wants basic stuff, theres no way he should get the Type R. Too expensive compared to the H22.
