Default hot engine start problem

Hi,

so my trusted old '88 civic has been acting up lately. it wouldn't start on a hot engine. i have to wait like 30-40 minutes after driving to start the car again. the main relay seems to be working. i can hear it click and the fuel pump making some noise when i turn the key. the engine just keeps cranking but doesn't start. anybody got a clue what could be wrong? can it be the ignition coil?

Sounds like fuel a fuel system problem. I can't pinpoint it though. Try cleaning out your injectors.
