How to adjust honda idle

Default How to adjust honda idle

i put a new performance exhaust on my 96 si with a high flow cat and 4-2-1 header and now i idle at 1000. should i leave it or adjust the idle screw on the tb just below the map sensor? how do i properly adjust it, just get car warmed up , mark the screw and turn 1/2 a time? HELP ME

Is the CEL ON?

First reset the ECU (remove 7.5A BACKUP fuse for about 1 minute) to let the ECU relearn the idle. This may take an hour or so of driving.
