I am looking at either getting another d16y7, or a d16y8- I am on a budget- about $2000 total for the install and all parts needed. Of course I would love to have a dual cam, but my budget will not allow that, I think?. I see the real difference between the y7 and y8 is a 20 hp- I would like more torque in the motor I get. Anybody have any ideas or help for me for a good swap. I am also having a hard time finding a motor that I trust the person on the other end of the phone. Thank you.
