Default I found the problem

well i finally broke down and pulled the d15 out of my 91 lx. got it all apart and looked everything over. everything seems to be in good condition except for a burned valve. other than that i decided to rebuild this motor and go from there. so far i have everything stripped except for the head. ill add pics once i get everything cleaned up. any sugestions or tips on what to do or parts to put it back together with? thanks

if you ever plan on going turbo, get a cometic or OEM headgasket and arp headstuds. If you plan on turboing over ~220whp, you'll want to tear apart the block and build that too.
If you're never going turbo or anything, just rebuild it with OEM parts.

I would say if your going turbo i would for sure get a cometic gasket..i think they are much better for all engines that i have been into..from dirtbikes to cars.
