IM Components Necessary?

Default IM Components Necessary?

What are these things on a H22 intake manifold... I want to make my own ITBs and will loose those if i do... What systems are they for and do i need them? Thanks

I bigger pic would help but IMO I'd buy a skunk2 intake manifold to do a DIY ITB's as the runners are strait and long enough.

I know but im trying to keep this on the cheaper side. I know they suck but OBX IM's have straight runners and i could cut them where i needed to and save some money that way...

Well you are doing the wrong thing to be on a budget, you are going to need hondata, crome pro, or a full stand alone engine management plus your going to need to find a manifold made out of clean metal so it can be tig welded. Cast alum is dirty and splotchs to much more times than not so in all reality you would about be better off getting your hands on a cnc'd intake manifold flange and making runners out of stainless steel.

the can on the left in the pic is the egr valve with the lines in the middle coming and going to it
