I visited the website. That's a canadian company located in Montreal (or around it). I don't think i'd trust them. I live near the region and last year my Civic Si got stolen in my parking during the night. However, i would contact them and see if the engines/trannies still have the serial on them. If yes, i'd probably ask them the serial, a proof of it and verify with the authority if the engine is from a wreck or a stolen car. Cause i doubt you want to help this kind of business if they sell stolen parts, and you really don't want to install your super engine and get your car towed and engine removed cause it was a stolen one. No matter what, i'm a bit paranoid since my other Si got stolen so... i'd have difficulty to trust shops like that, even if they can give you an history of the parts.

I can tell you from personal experience that japanese motors don't have serial numbers on them. If they are an actual importer(which is what they say they are) Then most likely they are getting motors out of cars in wrecking yards or that have 30,000-60,000 miles on them. Most companie I have talked to do not have the paper work for which car they came out of. If you buy something like a front clip and get the dash and instrument cluster you will have a better chance of getting the info you are asking about.
